The goal of this parlor floor apartment in an 1850's West Village Brownstone was to keep with the charm of the building and neighborhood.  All of the original detailing was appreciated...moldings, wide plank flooring, fireplaces, ceiling medallions, etc.  The calling was to keep in character but to make it cozy and inviting...a calming place to come home to after the bustle of the city.
